Welcome to the Arrow Lakes Backcountry Horsemen!
We are a local chapter of the Backcountry Horsemen of BC, bringing together people who share a love of horses, the outdoors and exploring our beautiful backcountry.
Our chapter is focused on responsible horseback riding, trail stewardship, education and building a community of riders throughout the Arrow Lakes and surrounding area.
We are a new chapter, formed in 2026, and we plan to offer a variety of activities for our members, including:
🐴 Group trail rides and riding adventures
🏕️ Horse camping and overnight campouts
🌲 Trail maintenance and stewardship projects
🎓 Horsemanship and packing clinics
🐎 Educational workshops and demonstrations
🤝 Community events and opportunities to meet other horse enthusiasts
Whether you’re an experienced backcountry rider or simply interested in learning more, we’d love to have you involved.
Our goal is to create a friendly, active chapter where members can enjoy their horses, learn new skills, explore local trails and help preserve and maintain the trails we all enjoy.
